Formed in new york city in 2014, Kevin harrison & true north released their self-titled ep the following year — a DIY affair, heavily influenced by the city's sights and sounds.

For their follow-up EP, the band set out for New York’s Catskill Mountains and enlisted acclaimed producer Simone Felice (Lumineers, Vance Joy). Five days of barn sessions and campfires produced a collection of five songs showcasing a versatility that sets Kevin Harrison & True North apart.

Howl was released on September 7, 2018, with the first single, "Brother," premiering at Glide Magazine in July and the second, "If Today I Should Die," premiering at Popdose in August.

With stages quiet and studios empty across 2020 and 2021, the band remotely recorded and released the single, “Last Mistake.”

kh & true north performs less frequently these days, but the band is always open to the right gig — and when they come together, get ready for a barn burner.
