If you've been to a show recently, you've probably noticed a couple new faces on stage. We hit the craiglist lotto for the second time (!) and added Brendan Cavanaugh on guitar. We've also had our longtime friend Mark Amicucci filling in on bass for the NYC gigs that Alex can't make the trip up for. Both guys have been awesome at our last two shows, and we're excited to have them on board.

We also want to say thank you so much to all of the folks that helped us out with voting and spreading the word over the course of the Bonnaroo "Road to Roo" contest. We came up just a bit short this time around, but were extremely impressed and grateful for the amount of support that we received. You guys are awesome.

On your mark, get set, VOTE!!! Today begins our quest to play the famous Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN. Last year, we finished in the top 40 of 1100 bands, and this year we've got our sights set on making the final 10 so that we have the chance to be chosen my the festival organizers.

Click HERE to vote, once a day through April 24th. You'll need a Facebook account to vote, and they'll have you "like" a couple of related pages to get started, but days 2-14 are a breeze!

As we speak, our majestic drummer, Sean Hartis, is signing his lease up in a classy section of the Bronx! That poor neighborhood doesn't know what it signed up for by letting him in, but we're glad to have Sean up here full-time and no longer flying the CLT-LGA express for shows. Also:

• We're definitely doing the Road to Roo contest for a chance to play at Bonnaroo this year. We'll be thinking up clever ways to make our daily barrage of "have you voted yet!?!?" facebook posts less annoying.
• A big thank you to all that came out to our Charlotte somewhat-homecoming show at the Evening Muse. Awesome turnout and a hell of a lot of fun playing for the folks that were coming out back when we were "Kevin Harrison and the __________ (insert whatever the band name was that night)".

Happy March everyone! Just a couple quick updates for you...

• We'll be hitting the road back down south to play the Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC on Friday, March 15th-- looking forward to seeing some familiar faces!
• Our April 12th show at Bar East has been cancelled, but we're looking at other NYC venues for that night, so stay tuned.
• Other upcoming NYC gigs: Saturday, 3/30 at Connolly's Klub 45 - Friday, April 26th at Alphabet Lounge - and we're really excited to have just lined up our first show at the famous Bitter End on Saturday, May 25th - more details to come.

We're also entering for a shot to play Bonnaroo--we haven't gotten word whether they'll be doing the "Road to Roo" fan voting contest again this year, but we do we want to thank everyone that voted for us last year before we were even Broken Compass Society--finishing in the top 30 of 1000 bands really showed us just how awesome our supporters are!

All it took was one weekend of having Sean and Alex in town to grab at least enough attention to fill out our "2013 Spring Tour"!

True, we'll only be doing one non-NYC gig, but we're excited about the steady lineup of shows we have booked through the start of May and some potentially HUGE shows following shortly after. Charlotte, we'll see you on Friday, March 15th, and NYC area folks have plenty of chances to come out in April.
